1. What are you excited about right now?

Helping businesses support their customers/clients via smart communications during these squirrely times. Being the agent of discovery for businesses defining their brand promise and evolving into their highest purpose, so customers and prospects experience their ultimate value.

  1. Who is your ideal client?

Small-but-mighty businesses in growth mode, those who want to grow but have reached a wall, and new businesses looking to establish their place in the market.

  1. What is a big goal you are working towards right now?

Adding brand mentoring to my services. Small businesses need strategies to help them stand out while staying focused on the things that contribute to growth. It’s easy to get distracted; talking through how different business decisions impact your brand value saves time, resources and contributes to faster success.

  1. What advice would you give yourself if you were starting over?

It takes up to 3 years to build solid relationships within any community. Put yourself in places where the clients you want 2 years from now are hanging out.

  1. What is your business superpower?

My smarts: a combination of puzzle-solving, and the relentless pursuit to reveal what is at the heart of a business and what customers truly want.

  1. What is something people don’t understand about the work you do?

The word “brand.” It has too many associations (logo/product/name/tagline/…). Your brand promise is the covenant between your company and its customers—the experience you provide, no matter what, in everything.
